Hi Sarah
Hi Sarah
thanks for the email
The residency grant at Scitech means I can focus on this project and we have now a guaranteed venue in Western Australia as an outcome to the project. see below
We have the formal support of Janos for the project see below
It gives me leverage with other bodies and hopefully will help you too- I can supply letters of support etc. Attached also is the text from my funding application.
We need to firm up the team with you and Phil meeting with Janos in the UK. See here for an idea of how we can visualise the scientific data- this is in addition to specimen collecting etc.
Data interpretation

We have the current project dates from 1 November 2009 to 1 November 2010 - do these fit with your dates? We need to make sure that we make our visits to CI when yourself and Janos are there.
The November date sounds perfect for me as I am due to start the residency officially in September.
Also do you have any other thoughts for other outcomes for this stage? I was thinking about something web based that can be internationally accessible. I'm not sure if this is something you were planning anyway or if you had any thoughts on what might be possible?
Yes I have a few ideas. I have started to put a website together The website can be added to and have other pages etc. and I got a Twitter account if that is useful for us to have group realtime chats,
Phil and myself were discussing a possible 1 day event at Manchester Museum, this would feature Janos as a keynote speaker, a performance by Phil and Colin and if possible a showing of work in progress in a dome
great idea- i could try to get funding to attend
We could promote this to an arts/science audience and universities around the UK (and Europe) and also to potential tour venues.
